MEET THE AUTHORS

Robert J. Grover, PhD, formerly served as a university administrator and professor emeritus of library and information management at Emporia State University. Grover’s published works include a wide range of information services.

Kelly Visnak, PhD, is associate university librarian for the University of Texas at Arlington where she is leading the Division of Scholarly Communications. Her doctorate in library and information science is from Dominican University in Chicago.

Carmaine Ternes is a retired high school librarian and member of the Emporia State University planning committee for the Kansas Summer Institute for School Librarians. She also serves as an AASL Learning4Life state coordinator. She holds a master's degree in library science from Emporia State University.

Miranda Ericsson is a Public Service Specialist for the Topeka and Shawnee County Public Library. She develops programs that support and engage writers and leads the Local Writers Workshop and Great Writers Right Here author fair teams.

Lissa Staley is a Public Services Librarian at Topeka and Shawnee County Public Library, Topeka, Kansas. She is the Topeka Municipal Liaison with National Novel Writing Month and focuses on constantly improving customer experience and freely sharing successful ideas with other librarians.
